I guess I'm a little late in posting this! I've been busy busy busy! I'm in the early phases of planning this as well... just making sketches at this point of some sort of wood carving that would be a wall hanging. I've done this sort of project before and I don't seem to be done with it yet! I posted pics above of previous works that are in the same medium that I plan on working with. This time around, the project will be some sort of abstraction of either a tree, a girl, or a bird (maybe all three!) and it will be stained black then glossed with polyurethane. Exciting!
